Hello coupon lovelies! I wanted to
share with you all something that makes shopping at ShopRite even more brilliant.
We know how much I LOVE ShopRite, right? I can’t get enough of it! Well
ShopRite has this little thing called ShopRite
Family Rewards.
Essentially, in a nutshell, it works like
this:
When you buy participating brands,
for example Kimberly Clarke and General Mills, your total BEFORE manufacturer
coupons convert into points that are tracked using your Price Plus card. Let’s
say I buy 30$ worth of General Mills cereal. There is NO WAY in heck I am going
to buy 30$ worth of cereal and not use coupons to bring that total WAY down. So
say I used 20$ worth of coupons and got that 30$ total down to 10$. ShopRite
Family Rewards would track that purchase and make my total number of points 30
points, not 10. Get it? They are using the BEFORE manufacturer coupon price.
Now let’s say I have that 30$ total
and use 20$ in manufacturer coupons and 5$ in ShopRite coupons. It is NOT going
to count the ShopRite coupons because obviously it’s their store and their
reward program. So now the program is going to track you as having 25 points.
So what can you get with these
points? I’ll tell ya! You can get coupons that are dollar amounts off of your
next purchase. For 100 points, which essentially equals 100$ spent at ShopRite
BEFORE manufacturer coupons (so usually it’s not REALLY 100$ that I spent, more
like 20$ or 30$) you can get a 2$ off coupon. For 200 points you can get 4$ off
and so on and so on.
Once you’ve reached a certain
amount of points all you do is go to the webpage (which I’ve linked below) and
sign in. You click on “redeem points” and that coupon has now been loaded onto
your Price Plus card. Easy, peasy, lemon-squeezey!
I like to remind people that I’m
not shopping at ShopRite just to gain these points. This is an added bonus you
get for being loyal to the store. Since my total before manufacturer coupons is
usually around 70$ and I get it down to around 15$, I’m getting an even sweeter
deal with these points!
