(These are NOT the pictures of the actual Super Coupons for this week. This picture is here to show you what they generally look like.)
So we all know that the ShopRite flyer that gets mailed to our homes and that is an insert in newspapers usually contains something called Super Coupons. These are special coupons that are STORE coupons (which means they can be combined with manufacturer coupons) and they are only valid during that sales week.
This week, our sale inserts contained a few Super Coupons for shellfish and Wisk. What I found today made me a very happy couponer!
I get the Thursday edition of the Times Union mailed to my home only because I signed up for a promo deal to get them on Sundays also. Getting them on Thursday was like an added bonus when I signed up. With that said, I wouldn't normally sign up for the Thursday edition.
In today's paper, I received ADDITIONAL Super Coupons! There were more than in the normal sale insert so I was very excited. These were printed on the back of a regular ad so be sure to flip through ALL the pages!
There were a bunch but here are the three that I clipped!
Another Wisk 30oz laundry detergent coupon. This week ShopRite has them on sale for 4.99$ but with this coupon it makes them only 3.99$ and what is even better is that this week's RedPlum has a 2.00$ off coupon so when combined, this detergent only costs 1.99$
Furlani Garlic Toast for only .25cents and who doesn't love spaghetti night with garlic bread?!
2-Liter Coke, Sprite, Dr.Pepper, Fanta, or Coke Zero for only .25cents and we don't normally drink soda in our house but this will be great to bring for an Easter dinner with the family so others can enjoy!
Super Coupons rock!

So the past couple of weeks have been so blahhh with the matchups. The only good deal for me was the Purex laundry detergent deal last week.
This week is MUCH better. :)

What To Do With Items In Your StockPile?
Okay, so with all this couponing you may have started to accumulate a small, nice looking stockpile. I have a small stockpile started with things that we USE ON A DAILY BASIS. I'm not talking this huge, take up the garage, crazy amount of can goods stockpile!
(I'll leave that to those crazy stay at home moms from Extreme Couponing LOL) Get it ladies, but with all do respect my family does not need 50 cans of pasta sauce and 100 Lysol cleaners. We will barely have enough room to squeeze baby #2 into the mix!
I'm not going to lie, Jaylen has a nice size diaper tower in his closet and a rapidly growing wipe tower as well. We also have about 20 bottle of Purex Free and Clear detergent because I had an AMAZING deal on these. We have a couple big bags of toilet paper as well as paper towels and we have a lot of shampoos and deodorants. IT'S NOT HOARDING, I swear! We use ALL of these...everyday.
Someone asked me a question the other day that really stuck with me and I have a GREAT suggestion for all of you couponers. I got asked this annoying question..."Why do you feel the need to accumulate a large quantity of stuff when you can just get it like everyone else does?" It wasn't worded exactly like this but then they added, while watching my total go from about 30$ to 2.50$, "I don't think it's fair."
Ha! You don't think it's fair that I spend a little extra of MY time to provide for my family?
Besides keeping these things at home for our personal use, we also do donations to food pantry's. I'm actually looking into a local women's shelter to see what they will accept as well. If I get 4 papers every Sunday and a coupon happens to make 4 deodorants free that week, I'm going to get all 4. I spent money on that paper and even though I don't need 4 deodorants, someone else certainly does.
Another GREAT idea that I'm putting together right now are gift baskets. Holidays, birthdays, and baby showers are all great times to give someone a homemade and well thought out gift basket. I always get great deals on baby items that I don't use for Jaylen but that doesn't mean I'm going to pass up a great deal if I can give those to someone who will use them! I can always score Johnson and Johnson lotions, shampoos and washes for 1$ or under and these are great for any baby shower. Shampoos, toothpaste, laundry detergent and dish soaps are all great for making a "home care" basket when it's a holiday or just for any occasion.
Honestly, I love getting things that I would have to normally buy anyway because that means that I DON'T HAVE TO BUY THEM!
I love to give my baskets a theme like, laundry (and then instead of putting these in a traditional basket I put them in a laundry basket) and it makes it more fun!
I also like to include coupons in those baskets as well so I can spread that deal getting joy with all my friends and family!
So that's my little couponing rant for the night! Hope I've inspired you all to go above and beyond with your couponing!

222 PAMPERS Diapers For Only 29.99$
So I wanted to share this deal for those of you with little ones still in diapers. I'm also sharing this deal for those of you who know of anyone or who plan on getting any diapers for anyone in the future.
I was always familiar with Amazonmoms.com but never ordered anything through them. I was not, however, familiar with Diapers.com until I had 750 Pampers points that I used to get a 5$ off coupon. (If you are not familiar with the Pampers Gifts to Grow program just comment below and I'll break it down for you.) I used 450 points to get a 5$ coupon good off of ANY Pampers purchase from Diapers.com
I headed over to the website to check out their prices. What I saw TOTALLY excited me! They have a promotion going on until the end of this month which gives any NEW customer 10$ off their total purchase of 49.99$ or more. They also have a COMBINED promotion that gives you 5$ off of any big box of diapers. I believe you are allowed to do this 5$ deal 5 times or until the month is over.
Their XL box of Pampers is priced right at 49.99$ and the size 3 (which is what Jaylen is in) comes with a 222 count of diapers inside. Without any coupons this price values each diaper at .23 cents which is NOT a good STOCKUP price.
49.99$
- 10.00$ for new customers
- 5.00$ for the 5$ Diapers.com promotion
- 5.00$ for the Pampers Gifts to Grow coupon
= 29.99$ and they do FREE shipping since the original price was 49.99$
This makes each diaper value at only .13cents a diaper! This is an INCREDIBLE stock up price on a brand name diaper.
Just in time because Bubbies diaper tower is getting dangerously low!

PUREX Laundry Detergent Deal!
Starting on Sunday, 3/11/12 there is going to be a Purex laundry detergent deal at ShopRite. The deal is this:
Buy 6 of these select products and receive a 5$ CAT. It has not been confirmed yet whether this Cat will roll or not but let's keep our finger crossed that it does!
It is said that select regions will be getting a .50cents off ONE Purex laundry detergent in this weekend's paper. Let's hope our region does! However, I actually purchased these coupons in advance on Ebay since this will be such a good deal on this brand of detergent. I also purchased the 1.00/2 Purex laundry detergent and I'll tell you why below. If anyone has questions on purchasing off of ebay please comment me below!
My stockpile on laundry detergent is getting dangerously low so I'm more than excited for this!
Here's the breakdown:
(REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN ONLY USE 4 LIKE COUPONS IN 1 TRANSACTION)
This is my particular combination since I don't need anything else that's listed in this deal. I only wish to purchase the laundry detergent. You can tailor this deal to suit your household needs however you wish.
6 Purex liquid laundry detergents at 1.99$ each
1.99$x6=11.94$ (This is what you would paying WITHOUT coupons or CATS...no way!)
11.94$x1.08=12.90$ (This is the price with added .08% sales tax)
12.90$-4 .50/1 coupons (which will double to 1$/1) = 8.90$ (YOU CAN ONLY USE 4 OF THESE COUPONS EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE BUYING 6 DETERGENTS)
8.90$-1 1$/2 = 7.90$ (Total AFTER coupons are deducted and oop price)
7.90$-5$ CAT received= 2.90$
2.90$/6= .48cents per detergent AFTER coupons and CAT were deducted
Hope you all are able to score some GREAT prices on detergent starting on 3/11!

*UPDATE*
The P&G Joy deal DOES work! Yippy! The 14oz bottle is priced at .99cents and you do get a 3$ Catalina that can be rolled.
ALSO the Fiber One Catalina rolls as well. I bought 4 boxes of the 90 cal brownies yesterday, priced at 2 for 5$ I had 4 1$ off coupons so I paid 6$ for 4 boxes and walked away with a 2$ CAT.
I did this same deal today, using the 2$ CAT and paid 4$ for 4 boxes. I received ANOTHER 2$ CAT!
REMEMBER that the Joy deal DOES NOT require any coupons so if you're a beginner, this is the perfect deal to do to get you started!
Happy couponing.
P.S. The Fiber One Brownies are so YUMMY and they're only 90cals!
